Best Departmental Entry in the UC Davis Picnic Day Parade
Our students received recognition as "Best Departmental Entry" at the Picnic Day parade this year!!! The theme for this year's parade was "Reflections: "100 Years of Aggie Legacy." Our students (and some faculty) dressed up as fabulous, fantastic pieces of food and marched alongside an advertisement showing all of the events of Picnic Day at our new facilities (Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science). These events included lectures and tastings about olive oil and chocolate as well as free ice cream and grapevines!!! Yay for our Picnic Day Parade team!!
